"Forever Begins Here" Commercial | Chalmers Jewelers

Introduction

Sixty years in thirty seconds

The idea was simple. The execution was not. Tell one couple's whole marriage in thirty seconds, from the wedding day to 93 years young, with the ring as the thread running through all of it. Which meant photographs. We scanned over 600 of them, working through decades of somebody's actual life to find the frames that carried the story. Then we built a 3D model of her real ring and animated it flying in, so the piece the commercial is about is the piece you're actually looking at. That's the part worth defending. Anybody can drop in a stock ring render. Modeling the real one is a pile of extra work for something most viewers will never consciously clock, and it's exactly why the spot doesn't feel like an ad.

A spot that earns it

Chalmers ended up with thirty seconds that sells a sixty year marriage instead of a product, which is a much harder thing to pull off and a much harder thing to forget. The ring animation gave them a signature moment nobody else can reuse.
