American Dream TV Episode | J. Henry & Sons
Shooting to somebody else's edit
This one had a different constraint than almost anything else we do. We produced and shot the episode, then handed the footage off to be cut and distributed by the network. Which means you're not just capturing a story, you're delivering coverage an editor you've never met can actually build with. That changes how you work. More angles, cleaner continuity, no clever shots that only pay off if you're the one assembling it. Discipline over flourish. The subject helped. J. Henry & Sons is a bourbon operation on a farm just outside Madison, and TC Farber hosted. Fields, barrels, the family, all of it. Drone for the land, because a Wisconsin farm making bourbon is a story about the place before it's a story about the whiskey.
Who is
American Dream TV
American Dream TV is a national, Emmy nominated television series covering real estate and local markets, airing on major cable networks and distributed digitally. Cast members are real estate professionals representing their own markets on the show.

From our camera to cable
The episode went to broadcast on national cable and out through the show's digital distribution, which is a considerably wider audience than most of what we shoot ever reaches. Delivering to a network's edit spec also proved we can work as production for somebody else's show.
