Conversation Commercial | Ridge Top Exteriors
Two people talking, not one person selling
Almost every home services commercial is somebody talking at the camera. You know it's a pitch within two seconds and your guard goes up, and after that nothing in the next twenty-eight seconds is getting through. So we built this one as a conversation instead. Two people, talking to each other rather than at you, about the thing they'd actually be talking about. You're overhearing it. That's a completely different posture for a viewer, and it buys the whole spot the benefit of the doubt. The catch is that natural is hard. Real conversation meanders, and a commercial can't. So you shoot a lot, stay patient, and find the stretch where it's both honest and going somewhere. Drone and jobsite coverage handle the credibility while the conversation handles the trust.
Who is
Ridge Top Exteriors
Ridge Top Exteriors is a family owned exterior remodeling company out of Wisconsin, in business since 2002, handling roofing, siding, windows, and gutters. They compete against a lot of noisy advertising in a category people are already skeptical of.

Trust before the pitch
The spot gets past a viewer's defenses by not triggering them in the first place, which is worth more in this category than any offer you could put on screen. It gave Ridge Top a broadcast piece that sounds like people instead of marketing.
