360 VR Venue Tour | The Eloise
A venue tour when nobody could tour
This one exists because of the pandemic. The Eloise books weddings, weddings get booked after a couple walks the property, and suddenly nobody was walking anything. That's an existential problem for a venue, not a marketing inconvenience. So we built the walk-through instead. Directed, shot, and edited on a high end 360 camera, made for a headset rather than a screen. Couples at wedding expos could put the headset on and actually look around the room they were considering, turn their head toward the windows, see where the ceremony would sit. 360 is a genuinely different discipline. There's no frame, so there's no hiding, and every decision about where the camera lives becomes a decision about where a person is standing. You direct attention with the space instead of the edge of the shot.
Who is
Eloise Venue
The Eloise is a year-round wedding venue in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, about half an hour outside Madison, sitting along a wooded stretch that works for outdoor ceremonies and photos.

A walkthrough without the drive
The Eloise got a tour couples could experience in a headset at expos, which kept the booking conversation going through a stretch when the usual site visit wasn't possible. It also reaches couples planning from far enough away that a scouting trip was never realistic anyway.
